The single strongest piece of external, competitive validation for any Valencia ice-cream maker — a fifth-place finish at a Rome-judged world ranking in 2024, on top of two earlier first-place national and regional wins — carried by two independent named-journalist pieces two years apart. It has no connection to horchata or turrón, which is itself part of what this city's case needs to test.
